Giving Thanks in the Month of November

November 11, Day of Gratitude: "What holiday are you grateful for?"  Tootsie Roll and I of course salute our Veterans today and give a special shout out to the late John "Gravy" Graverson who served our country well!  Now when we first answered this question the holiday was Easter because we celebrate it in our home in the hood.  That is not to say that we do not love the holidays that are spent with our parents and siblings...but being home without all the packing and driving and sleeping in other beds is super nice.  And maybe that takes some explaining...See the TootsUncommon family only has furkids so travel back to the parents is easier for us...so we get it...but our one holiday at home on our own is Easter and the day includes an egghunt for Tootsie Roll and Lucille, a tasty breakfast and a late Easter dinner!

Halloween is also a favorite because Tootsie looks amazing in orange, the decorations are the best and becoming something else, if even just for a few hours, is always fun!

And with the purchase of the T@B teardrop camper we have the amazing New Year's Eve camping trip where we open our Christmas presents to each other. Now remember, we live in Indianapolis, IN...so camping on December 30, 31 and January 1 is just a bit chilly so it's not about glittery tops and champagne; but rather fleece, wool and liquor you can take nips of!

So, we will toss it back out to you PUG Blog fans...which of these three holidays would you be grateful for if you were in Tootsie's "shoes"?  We look forward to your input!  Enjoy your Friday night!
