Giving Thanks in the Month of November

November 7, Day of Gratitude: "What memory are you grateful for?"

"In the fictional universe of Star Trek, the Prime Directive is the guiding principle of the United Federation of Planets. The Prime Directive, used in four of the five Star Trek-based series, prohibits Starfleet personnel from interfering with the internal development of alien civilizations. This conceptual law applies particularly to civilizations which are below a certain threshold of technological, scientific and cultural development; preventing Starship crews from using their superior technology to impose their own values or ideals on them. Since its introduction in the first season of the original Star Trek series, it has served as the focus of numerous episodes of the various series. As time travel became a recurring feature in the franchise, the concept was expanded as a Temporal Prime Directive, prohibiting those under its orders from interfering in historical events."  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_Directive

Yes, the last part of the Temporal Prime Directive applies here....non-interference in historical events...Like when Traci met Jefe.  I know, you were probably expecting my most grateful memory to be something related to the PUG, Tootsie Roll....But let's face it, if it weren't for Jefe - the huMAN - there would probably not be a Tootsie Roll, a TootsUncommon, a Lucille, a Pawncha, a Monkey, a Betty, an L Pawncho Camarillo - available from www.tootsuncommon.etsy.com

So, I am most grateful for the memory of the day I met Jefe and on that day we started to make history!

  1. That was a great day, in fact one of the best days! I am so grateful for that memory and the memories we share. Life is meant to be enjoyed one moment at a time and with you and our furry buddies that is how we roll. Here is to many many more wonderful memories together down the road.
